There is probably more support for the president in the world among REAL people than we will likely ever hear about from the MSM, unless there is a revival of jounalistic integrity, or a complete overthrow of the media elites. But at this point they're all sitting around with egg all over their faces and pretending it's a new look.

Morning Lib..do you mean other than survival? ;)

It's the weekend, so don't think there will be much on the agenda here. No live shopping anyway..but there is always the net, lol.

I have lots of boxes so we can pack some stuff, but I really don't know where to start. I guess the first thing to do is lighten my closets and bureaus. Goodwill will be happy I suppose. It's amazing how many things you keep, knowing you will never wear them or use them. Maybe I'll get the little tree up with just the lights. A bow on top and forget the ornaments.

Al has the the colored spots in front and back on the trees, and the deer in the front, but I guess that will be it for decorations this year.

Christmas will be mental this year, and not much physical.

Do you have the weekend off Libby, or are you on call?

I am OFF this weekend and not on call. Of course, I will be thinking about all the stuff that didn't get done last week that was supposed to and may end up going in the office anyway. I really want things at least semi-caught up (I've realized that it is impossible to actually BE caught up at this job) before the Dawn and Tyler come so I don't have to worry too much about it while they're here. Turns out that since I was already approved for 20 hours leave that week, and we only have a 3 day work week anyway (I didn't know that when I put in for leave), I really only have to work 4 hours while the kids are here, so I'm pretty happy about that.

a lot of Southern girls think the four seasons are: Recruiting, Spring Training, Practice, and Football...

That's our girl!

A real.....as opposed to certain not entirely reformed Hippy charlatans ......Southron.

Mornin' Ma'am.

How goes the war of Northern aggression?

That would be a New Hampsherite buying a newly under construction home from a Southerner......

Frolicing in the desert can be an extended kind of thing depending on the slither factor.

I just got done filling the birdfeeders and was enjoying watching them jockey for position. They are so funny. Actually, when I went out to fill the feeders, this one tenacious (and apparently hungry) woodpecker let me get within 2 feet of him, and even then he simply hopped over to another feeder. That would've made a good picture.

LOL LOL...you are sooo funny. So far, good. They are starting on the landscaping, (I heard thru the grapevine, they are planting on Mon..and laying sod on Tues. (We'll see) They're getting there Sharky. We have a 17th of Dec signing date, so hope it's true.

We have a quote for the dock and lift in, and it looks reasonable. We are seeing about window treatments. (Guess it looks like mostly vertical blinds of one type or another):( With the sun here, I guess it's the best way to go.

Am still searching for a kitchen and dining room set, and a wall unit for the TV, but that's about all I have to worry about right now.

After the move, then we have to tackle this house and get some stuff done for selling it. Nothing major, thank goodness, just some fresh paint inside. The solar panels for the pool will be getting overhauled next week. So far, without inspection, that's the most of it.

LOL..you live in squirrel and bird country, Libby.

Our morning Doves are checking out the pontoons on the boat again. They love building their nest there. We are trying to discourage them, as I hate to go for a boat ride with babies under the boat. If they start building, we'll have to keep flushing them out with the hose..lol.

Then they'll probably choose the roof on the dock table. Pesky devils, and you can't scare them.

Just the bedrooms will be carpeted, but they are cleaning the floors and it should be soon.

In fact the company doing the window stuff will be putting in the carpeting. They do all his homes, and they came well recommended from another source.

LOL LOL.. bugger. I am not shopping today! Al won't do anything that foolish on the weekend.

Right now, I'm watching them stucco the new house across the street, and that will probably be the extent of my exercise. ;)
