Checking in .. I heard from my brother and my SIL is out of surgery, in her room now and resting. He said the doctors removed a tumor and it was the size of a fist. He said that it was an aggressive growing tumor ..

The upside was that it was in the front part of her head and was easy to remove .. the down side is that it was a malignant tumor.

There wasn't much else he could tell at the moment .. that the next 48 hours were critical and they would know more on what kind of treatment she would need.

There really isn't much anyone can say .. except it sucks

My brother sounds like he's hanging on by a thread. He took mom's passing pretty hard last year and with this news .. he's really trying to keep it together .. but it's hard.

My one sister and her husband are hoping to drive down there on Friday and me and my other sister will drive down on Saturday .. but that is all up in the air at the moment and what the doctor say about her condition and how she is doing

We have a HUGE mountain top being sold by Chinese near here, they bought the terrain about 20 years ago and it all goes for $10,000 / acre, minimum 10 Acre lots. about 500 lots.

I looked over what remained after the initial buyers got the good ones, and couldn't bring myself to buy a gully or a slough from them.

All the real-estate here has jumped up to that price range for the lower end. I see $70,000 for 1/5 acre for the cheap sub-divided stuff.

Oh, Mo, I'm so very sorry to hear this sad news. Your brother must be devastated, my heart and prayers go out to him, your sister-in-law and all their loved ones. Praying also for wisdom for the medical team attending her, for a positive prognosis and for her complete recovery. Mo, in some ways, yall feel like family in a real sense. I don't even talk with friends and blood family everyday as I do with yall here. Thanks for sharing your burden with us. You and your siblings are strong and caring, and this is good in the bad times.
