I was a short mean cuss who'd do sacrifice rolls to throw someone.
I'd also do a neato hand twist thing that would cause massive pain but minimal damage unless the other guy moved.
(You can take apart someone's knee by grabbing and twisting their lower leg, then applying pressure to a pressure point right behind the knee, and below the kneecap. dislodges everything.)
I was always shorter than everyone, so I had to be twice as mean.

I only saw the knee thing in your post the first time, but yes, we learned the wrist thing too. The instructor always picked me to practice on (so he could molest me). He was really into S & M and especially enjoyed doing the carotid restraint on me.
