There is nothing sadder than an aging rocker.

How about Jerold Nadler trying to get into a speedo?

Clapton's aged well. Certainly better than many rockers.

He released a blues album with B.B. King a few months ago which is very good.

Live show, huh?

The aroma of marijuana will be replaced with that of BenGay.

Jack Bruce! :)

Jack Bruce was always my favorite member of Cream. He's a much better singer than Clapton, IMHO.

It'll be interesting. I just hope they don't go on one of those endless 'farewell' tours that have become so popular.

Nah, this will be short and sweet. I'd sure like to go over 'beyond the sea' to see them.

Royal Albert Hall --- remember John -- "The people in the cheaper seats, clap your hands... and the rest of you, if you'd just rattle your jewelry."

LOL

Yeh, he looks real good. I guess there is a proper way to take heroin and the rest.

;-)

Speaking of Clapton looking good, I can't believe B.B. King keeps on keepin' on being so fat. He's awfully good too.

I gave you a brand new ford
But you said: I want a cadillac
I bought you a ten dollar dinner
And you said: thanks for the snack
I let you live in my pent house
You said it just a shack
I gave seven children
And now you wanna give them back

See him soon, if you can. I don't think he'll be around much longer. I've seen him once every year or two, for the last several, and he doesn't look good at all.

Saw Cream on their Goodbye Tour in 68, I think. Saw Jefferson Airplane with Grace Slick in 69 or 70. Missed Janis. I understand their is a movie making the rounds about Joplin's last series of concerts in Canada...
It was a long time ago.
