Relying on O'Reilly to set the record straight is an embarrassment, especially since his reputation the last week has taken a significant hit.

If the Iraqis were not starting a massive rearming program, then why all the bulk explosive. Looks like they were going to start loading bombs or artillery shells.

When you figure less than 30 pounds of HMX explosive in a 152mm or 155mm, that tonnage sure does mean a lot of shells. We went in just in the nick of time.

I think the hit on Bill pissed him off and pretty much ended any dreams of running for office he might of had. S

He's dropping the "objectivity" bullcrap he's been playing the last 2 months and giving us the straight truth now!

I wish those allegations would have hit earlier, he would have given the Swiftee's a fair shake.

The one tenth of one percent that may or may not have got away!

Demos seem very confused. For months now they've been telling us that Iraq was no threat. Now they want to ignore the 400,000 tons of explosives we've captured and/or destroyed and talk about the 380 tons, we may or may not have missed.

Ah, you can do better Mr. Kerry!

Of the 216 years of this country's history, only 5 have been led by a president elected from a sitting legislature. I don't think Mr. Kerry is going to change that trend.

The point is, it was not looted. It was systematically moved.

By whom and for what reason are the questions.

The Vanishing Story

The story of Al Qaqaa is more complicated than anti-Bush partisans are portraying it. According to the Times, U.N. weapons inspectors discovered Al Qaqaa after the first Gulf War. The powerful explosives, which can be used as the trigger in a nuclear device, weren't destroyed then because Saddam pleaded to keep them for use in mining and construction (uh-huh). After the inspectors were booted in 1998 and returned in late 2002, they realized that 35 tons of HMX had been taken in the meantime. So it is clear that the inspections process Kerry and others wanted to rely on to deal with Saddam was inadequate.

snip

This posture neatly combines cowardice with opportunism and over-promising: a trifecta of contemptibility.

Remember, Saddam had an interest in explosives like HMX for one reason: They could have played a role in the revival of his WMD program. President Bush has removed that possibility once and for all — and for that, the region and the world are in his debt.

The Bush administration recently exposed how corrupt the UN’s Oil for Food program was. We now know Kojo Annan the son of Secretary General Kofi Annan is implicated in rampant corruption.

Late last month the Bush administration announced it would oppose a third term for Mohammed Elbaradei as director of the UN’s highly ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency.

We now have the Mr. Elbaradei claiming that the Bush administration allowed high explosives to be looted from the al Qaqaa facility.

Yet we have Dana Lewis, a reported embedded with the 101st Airborne Division at the time they arrived at the al Qaqaa facility on April 11, 2003, reporting there were no UN markings inside the facility and no high explosives. That is, the high explosives, if they were ever in the al Qaqaa facility, were removed before our troops arrived there. In short, they were looted on Mr. Elbaradei’s watch, not on President Bush’s watch.

So why would Elbaradei publish a clearly false report? The answer should be obvious: Mr Elbaradei and others in the UN want to injure President Bush so Senator Kerry who believes the US should cede its sovereignty to the corrupt UN will become president. Kerry would likely allow Mr. Elbaradei to serve a third term as director of the IAEA and drop the investigation into the corrupt Oil for Food program.

Americans need to reject the UN’s coup d’etat attempt by rejecting John Kerry who is furthering this fiction.

Oh Reilly is the world's biggest ass. All he did was step on Morris's lines, defend Big Media and play devils Advocate. He's so busy trying to be "objective" he comes across as a moral calamity.
