I remember this thread.
I see a lot of names of FRiends who are no longer with us.
Thanks for the memories! :D

Heh, awesome. Cats are really small tigers, and would eat you if you were the size of the prey they like.
Good thing I’m not!
I prefer cats over dogs....had three cats and the difference between their personality was marked. One would have liked to eat you - born in the wild and never really took to being domstic. He finally ran away.
I figure when I retire, I might get a dog...:)
I have had cats. They choose to interact with you of their own free will, while dogs, being part of the pack which you lead, are compelled to interact with you!
My cats give me a lot of enjoyment...they are brothers from the same litter. It might not seem so, but look at their markings on this image:
Look at their postures and the markings on their legs. They both have idiosyncrasies that are funny...they both do an odds smacking of the lips if you rub their jowls, and...if you rub their jowls the right way, you can make them "chuff" or sneeze.
I think this is one of my favorite pictures below...:)
Sweet photo of the two coupled up.....
Here is the one I have as my desktop picture...:). This one is the crazy one!
WOW! I had completely forgotten this thread.
Thanks for bringing it back, and at the same time, CURSE YOU for bringing it back LOL
Meezers? I love the way their markings match.
I am also owned by a meezer. He’s quite the chatty, purring, affectionate fellow.
There’s a reason they’re called ‘Cats’....they can all bite the hands that feed them!
On the surface, the lighter colored guy would be a visual candidate to be a "Meezer"...
But he generally just has little "mews".
The "tuxedo cat" has a deep, booming yowl that is nearly alarming, and he uses it when he is hungry...which is all the time! Well, no...he doesn't do it ALL the time. I can't believe how loud it is.
But he is the far bigger cat. The lighter one is a peanut in comparison, at one point, he was nearly half the weight of the other one. So it stands, he would be louder.
Hahaha...I tend to get a little rough with both of them, which they love. I can slide them across the linoleum floor to the other side of the kitchen, about ten feet, when they are laying on their side.
They jump up, run back. and plop down in front of me again. and I slide them again.
I can pick both up by the tail, which I use when I am lowering them to the ground, and I pick them up by the tail slowly about a foot off the ground, but that is it. I would never in a million years do that to any other cat, but they are both habituated to it and don’t mind because I grab their tails close to the root, and am never abrupt or violent.
The lighter colored one, Admiral Halsey, can get quite carried away simply by nature, he is more rambunctious and aggressive, so I have to be careful with him. He often just starts running around as if he is seeing things I can’t, and his tail, normally slender, turns into a bottle brush, his eyes bulging in some kind of unseen terror or insanity. Then after a few minutes, he is back to licking himself.
The black one, Mr. Inky, is as gentle as can be. Has never drawn blood...
Mr. Inky and Admiral Halsey are very handsome kittehs indeed.
That. Is. Hideous.
Best acrobatic fight scene I’ve seen in quite awhile!
I love how the cat starts out in “pounce position.”
