I don't want to be insensitive. I pray for a full and speedy recovery for Bill Clinton just as I would for any human being (except terrorists). I think it's totally appropriate to have all these former aides on TV telling kind stories about him.
But Dee Dee Myers and Andrea Mitchel got a little carried away. Dee Dee just told us that he "still runs, in fact most people don't know that he runs a 7 minute mile." Whopper alert! Andrea then said she expected he'd have a good recovery because he has good eating and exercise habits. They've both drunk the kool aid.

Clinton will take two months to recover and will not be able to campaign for Kerry as he was supposed to...hmmm...will this help or hurt Kerry?
To: Timeout
I also wish ill to not many folks, so I've just ignored bent's health problems...there's enough going on in my life to worry about that scoundrel.
Cheers, TO.
Stay well and safe.

My niece told me this today:
"Every time Kerry tells a lie, his chin grows."
LOL!

To my knowledge, bent's never "campaigned" for anyone who's prevailed in an election.
The normal, natural revulsion's too great.

That might be the 'I'm just the proudest grandpa ever!' smile. Heard that his daughter has just given Cheney his first grandson. That's the baby you see mom holding.
Ah, a wonderful, sweet, nice, all American family! A nice break from that scowling Teresa and their collective kids.
I thought that poll said GWB was up 11 points.... The one TIME is reporting or do you know of another?

My husband ran Division I track and runs marathons. He currently is training for the Richmond Marathon, and will run the Boston Marathon again in April. He is younger than Bill Clinton. Believe me, Bill Clinton doesn't run 7 minute miles. I doubt he ever in his life has run a 7 minute mile.
Of course, it depends on the meaning of the word "run."
To: Iowa Granny
Yea! You're home! We can't wait to here all your convention stories. But get some rest.
If HLL isn't flying home right this minute, I would bet she's admiring the inside of her eyelids about now with a well deserved nap.

Glad you're back safe and sound. I thought I may have caught a glimpse of you during the roll call the other night. You did good work!
To: mountaineer
I was definitely out of camera range when State Auditor Vaugt was doing the roll call thingy.
But last night, when Gov. Pataki recognized Iowa for sending quilts to NYC after 911, I was in the front row of Iowa Delegate who stood for recognition.

Dee Dee just told us that he "still runs, in fact most people don't know that he runs a 7 minute mile." We should ask the expert, Ken5050.
Seen bill running around the hood lately Ken?
Here we learn about bill's special trainer:
"They still have achieved something in that session with that energy level at that given time, and that is why they hired me," Hennig said.
Squats, lunges, running and push-ups are all part of Bill Clinton's routine. He is also on the South Beach diet.
"He does push-ups as good as a 20-year-old," Hennig said. "They are as good as they come." [Lying for a bigger tip Mr. Henning? heh heh heh! Good for you!] Link

Darn it, I missed you. I heard that part but was distracted from the TV.
I've asked John to accompany me on the bongo as I sing you a song for your home coming...

Day-o, Day-o
Daylight come and she want go home
Day, is a day, is a day, is a day, is a day, is a day-o
Daylight come, and we glad you got home! . . .

John probably 'thinks' that's a bongo drum. I seriously doubt he's had much experience on the football field. And if he did, I'm sure his records are sealed, so we won't be able to verify it.
