hmmmm?
Oh, sorry. That's Notre Dame. One of the wife's pictures.
Your instructions worked like a charm.
Heh.... I was wondering if it was a dead thread pun I wasn't getting!
Beautiful pic!
Once I posted it I realized it might not be recognizable. That doesn't really do the shot justice. She got some incredible pics. I'll try to post more as I remember what they are.
g'nite
Well, dog's almost ~out~ and my horses are put to bed. Just getting dark here, and we are going out to the pasture and watch fireworks. Neighbors across the pasture have got some good rockets again this year. Might as well watch the things if'n we gotta listen to 'em.
Hi there. Glad somebody still seems to be up. More family gabbing going on here. I'm in my jammies and in bed now so hopefully I can relax for a while!!! It's been a LONG day. :-)
That sounds like fun! We haven't heard nothin' yet. I know when we do I'll have a big baby of a pit bull right up here beside me whimpering for protection. LOL
Okay, what of Ramius and Rush last night? How was it? Anybody know?
Glad to hear that your trip was so successful. I wouldn't worry too much about the "dead" business... the University didn't have any trouble getting you registered for grad school, so it's probably a case of the guy at the apartment complex getting some of the numbers wrong.
Dunno Rose! I wonder. :-)
How're you this evenin'? Get any rain today?
We got a tiny bit of drizzle about an hour before the parade started but everything had burned off in time for the festivities. Turned into a lovely day here with the parade and all-day celebration at the city park. Very nice Independance Day kick-off. :-)
Howdy! Whachya'll been up to today? :-)
I hope there's no rain tomorrow. I'm thinking of driving by the "Defense Of Marriage" rally at the Capitol tomorrow. If I do, I'll take pictures.
Sounds like a good day. Was not ready to get out of bed at PQ's house this morning. But, got here, worked the parade, played at the park, had lots of homemade ice cream, barbeque, general junk food etc. Was a good day. Nice to see virtually everyone in this small town in red, white and blue. Lots of folks here with family over in Iraq too. I enjoyed seeing these families and talking to them.
Hey, that would be a good thing to do. I hope you are able to do that. Would love to see pictures!!!
I think I'm going to run over to PQ's mom's house tomorrow. I intended to get there today but got too busy. She needs an update on wedding-moot and stuff going on with my family here.
It did me good to be back here for this weekend this year. Nice return to remembrance of why I am proud that *this* is where I'm from. Americans who have forgotten their patriotism should spend one 4th of July celebration in any town like this. The townspeople will show anyone what it really means to be American. I bet it's the same in your home town. :-)
Tomorrow night I will probably be over in Clifton (the Norwegian capital of Texas) for their fireworks display. It is the best one in the county. Last year I took my grandkids to that one as it was immediately after Grama's funeral. It meant a lot to me just to be able to do that then. Don't wanna miss it this year either!
