Rosie, I think we were talking about big band music a bit the other day? Tonight I got to see some big band music live for the first time--it was so cool! There's this group in the area that does a show with big band music along with acting out of old radio shows from the era. They did Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller and Frank Sinatra and some other stuff like that. I'd heard most of the songs on recordings before but to hear them live with the instruments right there was something else! Wow! I could seriously get into that.

Did you watch their Berlin Wall concert? That was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.

How would you compare it to the first one?

I liked it better than the first one! Whether I liked it better than X-Men 2 is a question though... I can't decide right now. Will have to see it several more times to decide!

Question for you: Do you know if a character (hero or villain) who's real name was "Henry Jackson" ever appeared in any of the Spidey comics? That was the name of the kid helping Aunt May pack up her house, and so much emphasis was put on the name I just thought he had to have appeared in the comic at some point... can't find it anywhere, though!

Fedora - No, I didn't. I think I was too young at the time and have not bought a recorded copy of it.

Corin - Elvis medicine consists of lots of blue suede and black velvet being wrapped around the patient. :-)

*YAWN!*

I gotta get to bed folks. I'm dead tired.

Night, night all!

I'm looking forward to seeing the movie. But my days of going to the movies with Jr. have sorta ended this summer.

I couldn't think of a Henry Jackson, either. However, there was a kid Spidey revealed his identity to in the comics who I thought might have been the inspiration for the character. It was a kid who had terminal cancer with only a few months to live and their one wish was to know who Spiderman was, so he decided to let them know. I think they had a different name, though. That's the only kid I can think of who knew Spidey's identity.

"Fedora - No, I didn't. I think I was too young at the time and have not bought a recorded copy of it."

It was in 1989 :) I think you can rent the video at Blockbusters.

Have a good night!
