Clinton is the master of compartmentalization.

I agree, K - a Guild foodie extravaganza would be unequaled!

I'm making the squash today, I'll certainly let you know how it turns out. Thanks again!

HLL talked me into buying an electric pressure cooker a couple of years ago and I love it! Using it is easier than falling off a log.

Seems Monica isn't too happy with our favorite lying slug either...

Monica says Clinton lied about their relationship in his memior.

Interviewed on ITN tonight.

Funny, I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else but FNC:

NYT's Iraq/ al Qaeda ties - Page 1

I'm having trouble keeping up with all the acrobatics. Algore gives a speech declaring GWB and administration complete liars and/or dupes for perpetrating the Iraq/al Qaeda tie and the next day the NYT has this story? What gives?

Forevermore to be known as "the boyfriend" (aim high!), from the "you've made your bed, now lie in it" files:

Chelsea Clinton, 24, who lives and works in New York, chatted up the crowd alongside boyfriend Ian Klaus, who at one point kissed her on the cheek. On Monday, the New York Post praised Chelsea's soft, layered hairstyle, dubbing the cut "The Chelsea." But at the party, Chelsea disappointed those wanting a peek a her long tresses — she wore her hair in a ponytail. USA Today

Clinton navigated the crowd with his wife, New York Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, and his daughter Chelsea, who avoided reporters' questions while boyfriend Ian Klaus stood nearby. Baltimore Sun
___________

According to New York Post, the event saw Clinton, along with his senator wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and their daughter, Chelsea at the Metropolitan Museum of Art along with Chelsea's boyfriend, Ian Klaus. New Kerala World News
__________

Clinton, along with his senator wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and their daughter, Chelsea, were the stars of the Metropolitan Museum of Art gala, with Chelsea's boyfriend, Ian Klaus, also getting plenty of looks. NY Post
____________

Bush also addressed Chelsea, saying, "Chelsea, the fact that you survived your teenage years in the White House speaks to the fact that you had a great mom and dad." Next to Chelsea sat her longtime boyfriend, Ian Klaus, whose shaggy, curly hair hung down over his suit collar. NY Post

I just printed out the broc-chick recipe and plan on making it tonight! Looks yummy and since we have been away for the past few days, eating all meals out, we need a good home cooked meal, even my home cooking, lol...thanks...I still use the spareribs recipe you gave me a couple of years ago.

Did not get to see much of Clinton on t.v. True, we were in a hotel with a t.v. but Mr. D. has a visceral reaction whenever he sees Clinton, as in "turn that lying sack of sh*t off" So I have had to content myself with reading about all the hoopla...

The thing that I enjoyed most so far was reading that of all the nicknames given to Clinton, the one he hates the most is "Slick Willie". Heretofore I will do my utmost to refer to him as "Slick Willie", hee hee.

Streisand performed her 1964 hit "People," but with new lyrics: "Rumsfeld, we must get rid of Rumsfeld/He's the spookiest person in the world…. This war we're lost in/Don't ask what it's costing/What's a trillion or two to rule the world?"

From the (adoring) LA Slimes

What gives?

Intersting, huh? Today the NYT publishes this article about a letter showing Saddam reached out to Osama in their mutual interest in opposing the Saudi regime. And then

The new document, which appears to have circulated only since April, was provided to The New York Times several weeks ago, before the [9/11] commission's report was released.
So. For over a week now, the NYT printed all those articles braying there were NO TIES between Saddam/Osama...only now to admit they themselves had a letter establishing just such ties. How do these people live with themselves?!

Good lord have mercy. What a truckload of scum the NYT's is!

You know Stephen Hayes has that new book out, Connections... caught him on FNC this afternoon and he said this document is big news, bigger than even he knew about. Then he said there will be many more documents coming. heh heh heh! Bring it on alwhore!!!

Recipe update: Squash at cooling stage. :-)

Oooo that sounds good! We just got thundered out of the pool. Now it's rainy & cold and I'm glad I have that leftover casserole from last night.

Zell Miller (D-Georgia) will speak in prime time at the GOP convention to endorse GWB! In a truly ironic twist, Miller delivered the keynote address for Slick Willy at the 1992 Donkeyfest. Do you think he might use this speech to "switch"?!

I really like Zell Miller. Even when I read something of his I can hear that Georgia twang.

I hope he doesn't switch, we need a maverick democrat to balance out that pain in the bazoo McCain. The morning anchors on MSNBC actually referred to him as a maverick today and they even pointed out that he's a dem who's supporting GWB. Ha. I bet the Kerry supporters at NBC just hate when they have to do that.

FIL is going to be very happy tomorrow, he's only expecting a couple skillets of corn bread since I stocked him up but good (a little tlbshow lingo there for ya), a couple of weeks ago.

Until this moment, it hadn't occurred to me that the whole country is discussing the disfunctional mental state of both Bill Clinton and Al Gore at the same time. It's amazing we survived 8 years of those two in charge.
