It's her treat! - I hope we win a little, so the gift lasts more than a few minutes!
We'll go to the buffett at the casino, which is excellent, and then probably play some blackjack. It takes a healthy bankroll to play craps properly.

Our indian casinos don't have real slots... just these weird imitations that only take plastic cards and don't even have wheels, just a computer screen. Phoooey. Never liked them.

...I'm wondering if they WERE near where I was, then.Mornin'! That place was in Weisbaden Rosie. That's not where you were is it?
Interesting thing that a lot of people don't know. San Antonio is known for it's Mexican flavor, but it is right on the edge of the German part of Texas too. Many Germans there and lots of German things, especially in the north part of town. So, it is a place where those 2 cultures merge.
Texas really has a lot of different cultural areas. My mom and dad live in the Czech part of Texas. Grama was in the Norwegian part of Texas.

Gonna go down there early and visit with Bob first... and bring some pics of ecurbh riding to show him. When Kay gets home from work, we'll go! Truth is, she's been begging me to go out for a long time and I've been too broke to go burn money for fun. She's excited to go carousing a bit.

Ohio gozaimasu! :) So what was Kenshin's "Well, I'm back" moment about?--you don't mean you're almost at the end and there's only appendices left or something, I hope! That's what I always think of when I hear that line: I remember the feeling of getting to the end of the story and wishing there was more! :) How many seasons of Kenshin are there BTW?

Re #514: For a second I misread this post and thought it was someone's birthday, which confused me because I saw multiple recepients and I was trying to figure out which one had a birthday; then I saw it was just Happy Friday, LOL!

I think the fly masks also help shade from bright sun, as a side benefit. ;~D
