Well, of course! :-)
[snif] That's jus' beautiful. I just wish we could do that. :-)
Are you talkin' 'bout that small vacation in about a month? :-)
You know, if my motorcycle weren't down I'd just ride all around Texas for the summer and not be concerned about summer school not havin' enough students. But, it doesn't look like that's in the cards.
(((Ramius)))
You can tell us whatcha dream about tomorrow. :-)
Strongly.
<thoughtfully>Have a good one, Master Sea-man!
It sounds like you really enjoy taking customer calls :)
You don't wanna see my dreams. Trust me on this.
I don't even understand them. I wake up thinking "what the ____ was THAT all about"...
You said you were gonna have sweet dreams! I thought you might wanna share! *grin*
For one of those four days, I want da Bear to drive me down to San Antonio. We'll get Mexican food, put flowers on all the family graves, then come back up 281 and through Marble Falls.
Well, as it would happen... going to sea is all about NOT swimming as much as possible.
Most sailors in the time of Aubrey and company... didn't actually know how to swim. I can't explain that. It is merely what I've heard of the time.
That'll be a pretty drive! I always like going up Hwy 16 for a really pretty drive! Hope ya'll have a great time.
But.. but... but.... swimming is fun!
I do accept sweet dreams, as they are given, but I don't pretend to actually execute them.
OK... now this time I'm really bailing out. Gotta go. Leaving now. Nite nite....
Okay, night darlin'
uh.... have.... uh.... dreams that aren't too confusing?
Swimming is wonderful! I don't get to do near as much as I would like anymore either but my kid-hood centered around it. I was on swim team in high school. Did okay. Miss swimming like that every day even now.
He apologized quickly, promised he wouldn't do it again, and he didn't.
You know, most of my cursers are women. And sometimes I don't call them on it, 'cause I'm too busy laughing!
Had a customer call me once with a gnarly software issue. We'd been working on it for some time, without success, when I found a possible solution and told her about it, warning her it was risky. She said, "Oh, let's try it for s***s and giggles."
I had never heard that term before (I am sheltered), and I laughed out loud!
On the other hand ... had a woman respond "WTF cares?" to a pertinent question I asked. I warned her about her language. She replied, "What ...? F***? That's not cursing!"
"It is where I come from."
I swam a lot until about high school. I started with lessons at the YMCA when I was about 6 and continued with that until I was about 12, at which time I took up scuba diving lessons as well. I got out of it when I started wearing contact lenses and became sensitive to chlorine, plus the public swimming pools in my city started to become gang-infested about that time so it wasn't as much fun to go to anymore. But now I live near a creek so I'm going to try swimming and snorkeling in there--just hope the bugs don't eat me alive :) The thing I like about swimming these days is that it's so relaxing!--after I come out of the water I feel so much better than when I went in.
Most pilots I know are afraid of heights... I think it is just appreciation for the medium ;~D
I used to didn't mind what kind of water we got in to swim. As kids we swam in the worst of cattle tanks etc. Now, I look a little more skeptically at a lot of that water. But, I still sure do like it!
