Yeah, it realy worked nice. Her tail still had a little bit of yellow in it, but she looked like a bay before I gave her a bath, because she was so dirty. I think if I would give her a bath more often it would go back to white.
Mom gave my brother's grey horse a bath one time and she bleached his tail, he realt did glow. The bad thing was that he was going to a ropin that night, and when he got there all the other cowboys gave him a hard time because his momma had givin his horsey a bath.:)
Charlie told mom not to give his horse baths anymore before a ropin.
That's funny :')I spent a lot of time trying to scrub Okies dirt spots off with his first bath before I realized the white hair was clean and it was his spots showing thru. He's a typical little boy though. He does not like his hair washed. I start scrubbing that mane and I get the "eye"

That detangler stuff is magic though. It used to take me forever to brush his tail before I got me some. Worth ever penny.
we are ok and elizabeth is doing just fine. where is your mom. the pig will be a full grown hog. elizabeth has one too.
Know what you mean. When I'm giving Rocky a bath he does the same thing. Altho he doesn't like his butt washed. I've usualy got to put him next to the trailer so he can't swing away from me. I think Dot's going to be the same way, she doesn't like her butt sprayed with anything.
I just talked to her on the phone and she's watching the last ER of the season. She said she'd be back after that.

Sorry, I had a post after that. I was telling you that the detangler stuff makes Rocky's tail feel like silk.
wd-40 works good as a detangler and you can leave it in thier tales and mane till you give them a bath
Ok, I will. Don't know when that will though. I've got to go to the dentist on my next day off:(. I hate the dentist.YUCK.
Yeah, it also works on their feet too. Karen Sparks use to use that all the time. I can't remember why, but after she used it for awhile mom didn't like it. I think it started drying something out, but I can't remember if it was the feet or the hair. Have to ask her.
i am justing sitting watching the pig play he is running around in circles and jumping up and spinning it is really funny to watch i have not seen anything like it.
Okie doesn't mind his butt washed as long as I don't go any lower. I tell you what's weird though. I spray him with bug spray on his left side first. He just boredly cocks his head back to see what's going on but when I go to his right side he perks up and will try to scoot away. Silly horse:')
Uh, my husband has some of that in his sanctuary (the garage) I'll have to ask him if I can have some of that holy oil:')
