I hear Marta is divorcing Rush!
Don't know the detail but Monday papers are going to be vicious!
Limbaugh announces end of 10-year marriage
JILL BARTON
Associated Press
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh announced Friday that he and his wife, Marta, were divorcing.
The Limbaughs "mutually decided to end their marriage of 10 years" and have "separated pending an amicable resolution," according to a statement released by Limbaugh's publicist.
The couple shared a $24 million oceanfront mansion in nearby Palm Beach. Limbaugh often broadcasts his daily three-hour show from a studio in a commercial area of Palm Beach.
Spokesman Tony Knight said the matter was personal and declined further comment.
It was the third marriage for both Limbaugh, 53, and his 44-year-old wife, who were wed May 27, 1994 at the Virginia home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Thomas officiated the ceremony.
The past several months have been difficult for Limbaugh, who announced in October that he was entering a drug rehabilitation program because he was addicted to painkillers.
At the same time, prosecutors here announced they were investigating whether Limbaugh illegally went "doctor shopping" to obtain pain pills. The practice refers to visiting several doctors to receive duplicate prescriptions of controlled narcotics.
Limbaugh, who has not been charged with any crime, has repeatedly fought back against the charges and negative publicity he's received over the matter.
Last month, he took out full-page ads in two Florida newspapers to attack prosecutors for a politically motivated investigation. He also accused one of the newspapers of trying to discredit him. Limbaugh also regularly lashes out against prosecutors and reporters and defends himself during his show.
The criminal case against him is on hold pending a decision from the 4th District Court of Appeal. The court will decide whether the seizure of Limbaugh's medical records, which were taken by investigators in November, violated privacy laws.
Prosecutors say they need the records to determine whether to bring charges against Limbaugh.
Sadly when one under goes a change in addiction like overweight or drugs or what ever. They also out grow sometimes their mate.
Sometimes the relationship stregthen and other times a relationship can be an enabler or not compatiable anymore!
Thanks for the wonderful link on the President and the pictures of the events of last week. Wonderful pics.
We all have to remember that when it comes to the Clintons ( I mean both of them) it is all about them all the time. I just wish there could be some political bombshell that would blow them out of the news for good.....
Since when do we take orders from the Red Cross? What war have they won lately?
Weird isn't how some of these left organizations think they have the power of a nation!
Like ACLU, PETA, ELF Michael Moore etc!
Good night off to dreamland!
Outstanding history lesson - now we know.
Jeff did a fine job with his tribute site - thanks for the link.
...nothing quite like the sound of chambering a round in a pump shotgun to get one's attention.
Stay armed, stay safe out there.
Chloe and Carson are looking fine this morning, Gran. Thanks.
Monday cheers, everyone.

Attack of the Wine Bugs
by Tara Weingarten | Jul 02 '01
Vineyard manager Dave Pirio scans the perimeter of the 53-acre PlumpJack Winery in Napa Valley, Calif., looking for the enemy. Kneeling low to the ground, he flips over big, shiny grape leaves one by one, hunting for the dreaded glassy-winged sharpshooter. The half-inch-long, muddy-brown insect has single-handedly decimated 30 percent of the wine crop in southern California's Temecula Valley over the last four years, and now threatens to wreak similar havoc here in the nation's premier wine region. "It would be absolutely devastating to our industry if that bug got in here," says Pirio's boss, PlumpJack general manager John ......

Out for the day with the docs.......BBL
This is the only article but it has started up again this year!
Nasty enough looking critter.
I think maybe we should do just what the Red Cross wants.
Release Saddam on June 30th.
To the new Iraqi government.
In down town Baghdad.
By parachute. (Think piñata, or skeet).
Security is the Iraqi's problem...
Not a bad idea .. But I'm sure Fat Teddy and Spitting Mad Man Biden would complain about it
Great pictures of Carson and Chloe
