Somehow, I don't see Jeanne and I heading over to the monthly sweat lodge ceremony.
So you couldn't find any skimpy enough shorts?

One trouble with the UN is that they let other nations than the United States in.
Another trouble is that Arab nations are allowed.

Just another reason I like living in Texas!

Somehow, I think you and Jeanne can find some better things to do! :-)
As for shorts. Skimpy is plentiful here. It's some that fit and actually have more there! I thought I had some that would work, but have lost a size or so in the last year. They're awefully baggy. :-)

Yurts are cool. I'm still trying to come up with a justification to get one. Not sure where I'd put it... but they're cool...

of course, if i follow that line of reasoning i can explain why Texas should not be in the US too. If it ever gets to the point where we gotta "vote from the rooftops" I think I'd probably head for Texas as the most likely outpost of America.

The hot tub wouldn't actually be *on* the beach. Not a good thing, really.

Now that I'm looking at the lyrics of that, I remember seeing the video for that in a documentary--Dylan is standing on a street corner flipping cue cards with the lyrics on them.

Rose will be working Sunday.
To: Wneighbor
Yes, but neither hot tubs nor yurts would be good to have on the beach. Tides are funny in how they kinda come up and down every day. Can't stop 'em. Time and tide... yada yada yada...

I ain't believin' this. Lead story on local news tonight is still the tornado sirens. There was a hearing today. A tornado was reported on the ground by the officials at the Air Force Base, 3 WF police officers saw funnels coming down from cloud and 2 Air Force pilots in the air saw funnels going down. And yet, people are still up in arms because there wasn't a "damaging" tornado and the sirens were sounded!
Last month the hearings were because the sirens didn't sound. They weren't sounded because there were no confirmed reports of tornados, only straightline wind. Afterward, it is known there were 3 tornados. So, we went through 2 weeks of hearings on why the sirens were NOT sounded then.
Now, we're hearing crap about why they WERE sounded when there WAS all this confirmation!

Yep, that's the one. I used to see it a lot on VH-1 20 years ago, when I was in college. I used to leave VH-1 on as background music...
