I just clicked the freeper.hobbit-hole link atop the page and had to laugh at the surprise photo of President Bush tucked nicely in amongst y'all. Nice touch.

I've never tried OSX. How is it?
Very nice. With version 10.3 even my old 400mhz is snappy and responsive and on my laptop it flys. All the linux apps people are porting over now is pretty sweet also.

WN, We got lotsa hail last night, and fog this morning. I sure do like having a garage that actually houses the cars! How 'bout you, get any hail?Nope, thankfully we were void of hail and damaging wind. Got lotsa rain though. It still looks like we'll get more rain today too. We do need the rain like this, as long as it comes without that damaging stuff I'm happy with that!

Well, we got the storm warnin' sirens going off right now. Don't know what that's about.... storm isn't here but lots of real dark clouds. It isn't our regular testing time.

Oh heck no..... we don't have those in these parts.
Those are strictly a midwest thing.

Hullo! Done with a nearly all day work retreat. Was actually pretty good...though they made us talk a lot, something I usually don't do in meetings.
Did get a free lunch out of it. Cool...
And it's in the 40's out there and gorgeous...will probably go for a walk after work today. Might attempt to walk Fritz, which I still haven't done. *sigh* Housebreaking is still something of a foreign concept to him, which is sad, because otherwise he's fitting in so well I'm tempted to just NOT look for a new place for him. I guess I could start over and crate him during the day, but from what the kids have NOW told me, even that might not get through to him...guess he used to mess in the crate when they left him in it for long. I'm hoping with persistance, correction, and a lot of setting him physically outside when I think he needs to go, he'll eventually get it. I hope.
Makes me realize how good Fiona really is, for the most part. Still not at a level with many other dogs, but usually it's my fault when she messes up.

It is just *really* hard for me to think of the 40's as being gorgeous, much less weather to inspire a walk! But, I am glad for you.
I suppose you might not like walking here in July and August the way I do either. LOL

Best walking weather is high fifties or low sixties, I'd say. Otherwise it's too hot once you get moving!
I'd like it warmer, but after several days in the twenties, I'll take what I can get. And the sun is out...it hasn't been. It's been snowing, fercryinoutloud.

I would think about fencing again and leave the dogs out during the day... My dogs were always outside when I was at work, at least for the warmer months... with a nice dry place to get out of the weather.
All day at work is a lot to expect of little bladders, and if he isn't even in the mindset to try to wait I think it is impossible to implement now.
