Hi P.A.L.
I've taken so long to answer pings today that I've probably missed you.
Hope you are having a wonderful week.
If I don't see you later tonight, I'll see you tomorrow.

>> You probably did not know the true history of this word.
Yes I did. From OED: sh*t is an alteration of an earlier form "sh*te," stemming from Middle English "sh*ten," stemming from Old English "scitan" all of which meant "to defecate"; sh*t is akin to Old High German scizan "to defecate" and probably to Old English sceadan "to separate." The word is known well before the 12th century.

Thank you for sharing that story, Hookman.
I love the Dave Dravecky story. Being a Giant fan from when they first moved to SF from NY, I watched in horror as Dave's arm broke as he was pitching in a game.
Everyone was so excited about his comeback. It was unbelievable when that happened on live TV.
Thank you for bringing back memories of a terrific young man.

you're very welcome. I did not know anything about that story until Sunday when I read an example in a sermon. I thought it was pretty inspiring considering what my family has been going through with moving....It's been a journey!

Thank you!!
It's good to get home.
We had a wonderful, fun week but as they say, "There's no place like Amy's Place". :)
Thank you for making the "Thank You Graphics" for Victoria and Lori. They were wonderful and were appreciated by me and them.
Hope your day was terrific.

I wonder if we could change it a little and still get results.
Get rid of the wrinkles,
Get rid of the bags,
Lift my butt even though it sags.
Good evening, Lady. Hope you had a wonderful day.
I met a postal employee today who used to be a FReeper. He told me one of his favorite people to talk to was ClovisSkeptic. I told him that I knew CS's sister, and told him that she is LIR. Anyway, I invited him to become active again.

Thanks for sharing those 5 Tips for a Woman. Are you sure there are only 5?
Hey we stopped in Palm Springs Friday night. As I checked out the swimming pool and the shopping, I thought about you. :)

Thanks, T'wit.
That rendition of Helter Skelter is different than the one associated with Charles Manson.
I enjoyed that zingy sound.

Thank you for Willie Nelson. I really enjoy his music if I don't have to look at him. :)
He has a very nice voice.

I didn't know the history of the word. I thought it was computer jargon for when things get really messed up, like Oh ___ !

I would have liked to see a gila monster.
Being in an arid region (not desert) we have black widows, ground squirrels, coyotes, and lizards. We have tarantulas and scorpions but I haven't seen either for several years.
When I was a kid, we would catch horned toads and play with them. I don't know if there are any left.
