That whole half an hour thing throws me for a loop. An hour difference is much easier to comprehend!
But it won't really be four, will it? Aren't they half an hour ahead of us, not an hour and a half?
My brain hurts.

It's beautiful here, too! I'd rather be out snowshoeing. It's in the thirties and soooo sunny and bright! Supposed to stay that way for a good long time, fortunately.

Yes, I'm afraid it's a half hour off. Actually, 1.5 hours ahead of Eastern time. A lot of CBC announcements for shows end like this: "... at 9 P.M., 9:30 in Newfoundland."

OK...for some reason I was thinking it was just half an hour.
Either way...it's a hard thing to keep track of! Hours, I can do...half hours get interesting.

We also have an Atlantic Time Zone, which is the Maritime provinces (but not Newfoundland). So when it's 9 PM Eastern, it's 10 PM Atlantic and 10:30 PM in Newfoundland.

I was keeping track of the record of fire, an dhad just told FDC "Gun 1 shot" followed by "Holy ****!" as this guy raced past in front of me.I won't say I wouldn't jump myself. BUT, I'd have an ear to ear grin while doing so!

Of course, 200-lb. shells for the 8-inch make for very muscular, but slow, gunbunnies.Ya' sure those aren't Gun Buffalo? LOL

As R explained it to me -- gives reviews and statistics on college professors, for looking at my current teachers, and one's i'm thinking of taking. She also said some of the universities charge a fee but most do not. Thought you college kids would be interested, or someone you know would.
To: Argh
Ah...I'd completely forgotten about Atlantic. It all makes sense now!
But I still have half an hour until four o'clock. :-(

I did not expect a body to fly past me.
*chuckle*
We checked him over for impact marks to make sure he hadn't been in the way of the breech.
Instead, he kept saying, "I didn't expect it to be that loud and that close!"
Truthfully, the Air Force guys and Helo drivers we had on the gun line didn't jump like that.
*shrugs*

I know you aren't a college kid. But you are employed by a college right? And, thought you might pass it on to someone else who might be.
To: RosieCotton
I have 3.5 hours until 4, my quitting time too :^(
Have a great weekend when they finally let you go! ("Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, I'm free at last...")
