Hair - EEEKKK!! Everytime I even thought my PC might be fried, I've had an all out panic attack! I can't imagine what you must have been thinking.

WN - Nice of you to say that, sis. Truth is, I probably do more in a day than I used to do in a week before kids. :-) Doesn't matter, I don't need a superstar...just a decent guy with plenty of patience and the ability to handle the "other things" in my life. Oh yeah, and somebody who loves me!! *grin*

Rosie - Hiya Rosie! Been missing ya!

Hey Seamus!

Are we the only ones online tonight?

It figures when I finally get the chance to chit chat, no one is around!

I've gotten APC to honor warrantees on UPS's and failed Surge protectors before. They're really good about it. I haven't ever pushed for damage to equipment though. Can't think of any that's happened like that.

I would be surprised if a surge protector has a very long term warranty. They wear out fairly quickly. After a couple of years most SP's are done. That's my understanding anyway.

It's also important to note that not all so-called "surge protectors" really are worth anything. The general rule is that if it doesn't cost more than twenty or thirty bucks, its really just an extension cord with a breaker in it that might or might not really do any good. Real surge protectors are actually pretty expensive.

Hey there... so where is everybody? Out watching the Passion I suppose??

I haven't been able to get it off my mind all day. I really want to go see it.

Same here. I wanted to go see it tonight, but couldn't get the babysitting.

I'll probably end up watching it on Sunday early afternoon-ish.

Too bad we all don't live closer! It could be a movie-moot!

This is one that I'd rather wait and not fight the crowds for.

I mean, it's not like it's LOTR or something... :-)

I'm sure the Lord will understand.

Same here!

Still looking for work, but both Jess and Autumn have been down for the count this week. Some sort of stomach virus...goin' on 4 days now!

Me...healthy as a horse...but tired...very tired. Getting up several times during the night to change sheets, blankets, and jammies will do that...lol

Long day?

I still have to drive a passel of kids out to various homes. Long time still ahead before I sleep...

But first, I gotta clean up some.

Agreed.

Actually, this is probably the kind of movie you'd prefer to watch alone or with close friends and family. Nothing worse than sobbing in front of a crowd. So a less-than-packed theatre is preferable.

Hey Bear!

RE: The Passion - Jess and I might go see it sometime next week. The local reviews are amazing...this movie is going to hit hard...a lot of people are going to be affected by it. God's work, this is...it's a beautiful thing!

We were going to go this weekend, but I'm chaperoning my church's youth group retreat to Mt. Monadnock. It's going to be great fun, and I'm sure Jess is looking forward to getting rid of me for the weekend.

Ugh...there should be a LAW against letting elderly wimmin with no sense of smell buy perfume! My throat is burning...sat behind one such lady at church tonight. I swear my CLOTHES almost smell like it now. If it hadn'ta been pretty crowded, I would have got up and moved, but I couldn't really.

Ow.

Prayers for Jess and Autumn's quick recovery, Seamus. I know how exhausted you must feel.

No luck yet on the job front? *sigh*

I'll keep up the prayers for that too.
