On the matter of the movie Lost in Translation..don't bother. One word translates from the movie -- pathetic.

These are more like the Thorin and Balin type...

Sugar is just past a year now. My experience has been they don't really settle until after 2 yrs. She's already the best behaved dog I ever had. I leave her inside the house now on rainy cold days, and not a thing has been touched or messed when I come home. I think pretty amazing for a yearling.

Schnauzers...kewl. I knew someone who had a mini...really sweet, smart dog, but stubborn as all get out. Plus those whiskers are a pain to keep clean.
Heck, I'm not sure I'd want to deal with a Golden coat...I can imagine dealing with a dog you gotta wash all the time or clip or pluck!

Someday...someday...just gotta keep repeating that.
I miss my Jo...she was the best dog ever. What's really hurting is that the guy I got her from has a couple of males from the same line available right now. He has a litter or two a year. I want. I want baad.

Those two are so adorable. I see lab pups and it is worse than some women wanting a new baby.

She thought about wakin' up when we went out to feed horses, but it was just too hard.

When I told my story to Steve, his only comment was "You get what you pay for". And he's right.
The teacher came over and inspected my haircut...I thought she'd do the same about my nails, but when he was done he just said "That'll be $13!" By then I just wanted to pay and get out.
Funny though...after he nicked me, and we both calmed back down, he picked up the cuticle snips again and I said "Just put them down, we're done with those." He laughed. He put them down.

On a similar note, did you see NYPD Blue last night? I love that show, but wouldn't dare let the kids see it. But it did seem "tamer" than I expected. They've showed a lot more in the past.
