Supposedly they withheld taxes from the retirement fund check, but I wonder if they didn't take out enough.
But in any case, what's done is done. Had one brother lecture me for like half an hour on Saturday because I owe taxes and he was sure it had to be my fault. I just kept saying it must be the exemption thing, but it was too late to fix it now. He wouldn't shut up. I came close to nailing him. ;-)

That is a beautifully written song. Sad but wonderful. I have her greatest hits CD. She is great. Terrible story of fear for that 17 year old girl. I am glad she is finally free!

Getting to know Marty like W knows Marty isn't really for me anyway. We will let here keep that title and trophy! LOL... It have been way too many years since W did things like that! I will leave that as part of my - uh - childhood?

Heh.... Then I will shut up too before I get nailed! No worries! ;-) He is also convinced that I'm a horrible, horrible spend thrift. This in spite of the fact that he always turns up the heat when he comes to visit, does his laundry at my house, and is occasionally annoyed when he wants to do something that costs money and I say I can't. I offered to show my bank statements, but...

I got some Splenda. Isn't that the stuff you like so much?
I can understand why! It's pretty good stuff!
I got it for Steve, who's trying to overcome an addiction to coffee with a quarter cup of sugar and a half a cup of milk in each serving. I'm not exagerating. I'm probably underestimating.
He wants to break the habit of drinking coffee at ALL so I got him this stuff to ease him through the process.

Heh.... Well, in his hour long lecture did he mention that you should look at your exemptions now before too many months goes by in the new tax year? If so, then I won't. :~D

Well, in his hour long lecture did he mention that you should look at your exemptions now before too many months goes by in the new tax year? If so, then I won't. :~D Mostly he just said I shouldn't have had that problem in the first place.
But you're right. I'm assuming that's something I would do through payroll? Guess I need to find out.

I just posted the lyrics to a Martina song!Martina's a songwriter too?

Mostly he just said I shouldn't have had that problem in the first place. Irrelevant and unhelpful!

"I can live on what I'm making once that's done" Sounds good, Rosie. I'm sad about the guitar, though.

I don't know anything about tennis, though, so far all I know, this Martina gal is the best in the business. Duh...

Or is that a guy? It's rather androgynous. I'm confused.

Sorry to hear about the guitar, Rosie. I know how hard it can be to let stuff like that go.
I had to sell one of my trombones last year, the one that had played in my first two years of college. There were lots of good (and some painful) memories associated with that horn.
Is this a guitar you use sometimes and will miss, or is it just a dust collector? My trombone had sat unused in the closet for about 4 years, and I saw no point in keeping it around as I continued to move back and forth around the country. Although my cross-country moves are finished now. ;~D
