Just out of curiosity, how old are your comics?

Well, I read reprints back to the Golden Age, and I used to have a pretty continuous run of "Spider-Man" back to the 1960s plus a lot of "X-Men" and other, mostly Marvel, titles from the 70s-80s. But I had to sell that in college, and I've only made a little progress towards rebuilding my collection recently. Most of what I have now is miscellaneous DC and Marvel stuff scattered from the 60s-90s, with a few earlier issues (nothing very valuable, just whatever I can find in the cheap box at conventions), as well as some 30s-40s pulp magazines an older friend sometimes sends me. How about you?

Please add to your prayers that I don't have trouble getting insurance coverage for this damage. I can't see in the dark but I suspect I may need a new roof.

Will do! Hope your roof is okay.

Interesting. I didn't know that Hunter Ellis was a Survivor contestant. I knew about the former navy pilot thing. He talks about it all the time.

Tactical to Practical is a fun show. I've watched most of them. I don't know what they're going to be doing down there this time, though since it's our Phx office it is pretty safe to say it'll either be about crashing cars or blowing stuff up. Either way it'll be fun.

I don't know that part yet. I have damage to siding, one window facing and window screens. It was dark when I got home and I am hoping that is all but will have to look again in daylight. :-(

I am just glad it's not worse. There was a lot of worse stuff here today.

hehehe... yes, I would suppose that it is.

So what's the forcast for tomorrow? Are you still getting storms or has it blown through?

I'm looking at the weather info now Looks like more storms tomorrow but not as bad. High in the 70's! That's the part I was lookin' for! :-)

I like to be kept warm! :-)

It says 100% chance of rain. If it's 100% why do they call it a chance? Wouldn't that be a sure thing? But, weather never is, so why don't they say 99.9%?

hehehe... 100% seems like a sure thing to me.

I always used to wonder if a 50% chance of rain meant that there was a 50% chance of *any* rain, or that it would rain for 50% of the day. Either way, it was hard to tell.

Well, where you are I think you get more experience with rain chances! I figured you could educate me. :-)

Around here, most of the time there's just a 100% sure thing that we won't see a drop of rain for LONG periods of time! At least it makes for lots of good bike riding days. :-)

Well, my houseguest has moved more in. I feel so sad for them.
