I use the microwave as a food locker far more than I choose to admit to doing !!!!!

I didn't think about it this morning - they had left them alone all week - even when home alone.

I have a feeling hubby just doesn't want to admit to not having put the plates back on top of the coffee pot before we left.

Labs can be mouthy.

And have a tendency towards a sweet tooth.

I will never, ever, EVER forget my dogs (both lab mixes) getting into the green chocolate...............

Perhaps the dogs hypnotized him into leaving them in a more accessible area...they are very crafty sometimes. ;)

Mine ate a wicker wastebasket when they were 7 weeks old and a Canada Goose standing mount when they were 3 months. Feathers everywhere.

I caught them literally seconds away from digging into a box of chocolates 3 nights ago. It was on a table and I heard a noise and looked and the top was off the box and Hershey had a guilty look on his face.

Wow, is it quiet in here! There's even an echo. I don't think I've ever been in the classroom when no one else was here...

I bought the cutest light set yesterday-little lighted plastic bells with a music box on the cord that plays 10 different Christmas songs. Last night, I wound it around the first three posts of the railing of the stairway, and plugged it in to show hubby. Husky girl, who had been sitting nearby watching me jumped up barking and retreated over by the kitchen table, where she proceeded to howl every time the thing played music. We were laughing so hard I almost couldn't find the cord to unplug the thing.

I hope you find it! I don't know what it is about decorations and toys that talk, play music, and move that sets dogs off-the youngest daughter bought hubby a remote controlled model Ferrari two Christmases ago, and as soon as their initial shock had worn off at seeing it run up and down the hall, Aussie girl and Husky girl were destroying it by taking turns trying to chase it down, pounce on it, pick it up in their mouths and carry it off. Then there's that walking, talking Santa with the suit the Husky has eaten holes in...

My amphib was great for flying low within gliding distance of the river. You always had a place to land and the view approached that of a bubble helicopter.

Well, DUH. You name the poor homodog for a cheap, mass market brand of chocolate and keep calling him that (instead of "Ho"), and you're surprised when he goes after the chocolates?! ;)

-Missy must know something is up. She is ignoring me even if I say "peanut butter", her favorite word. She knows her master is home for the holidays. Middle son is due this week. Daughter is moving back for the visit as well. House will only be missing the oldest who will spend Christmas alone in Florida. He called us to say he and his wife got a divorce. Not a very jolly Christmas for him. I am kind of mellow today. Got some cleaning and rearranging to do. Christmas shopping will be finished up Monday morning. Otherwise only baking left. With my sweet tooth that is best left for the last few days. LOL

Another one of these committed Deaniac stories. This is so COLLEGE to be carrying on like this. xshub did this for Mo Udall when he was in college. he took off a semester and went up to New Hampshire and did door to door BS, living in his car etc. THEN HE GREW UP!

The bent one was more concerned with himself that the safety and welfare of this country. He's a soulless bastard with no remorse, no honor, and a legacy that is a crater in the middle of New York.

That has to be the quote of the day!!!

Sadly, it's the total truth. I lost friends that day, and nearly lost my life and my home all because that slimy coward was too busy pretending to be a man to actually *do* something useful. Apparently, back then going after islamofascist terrorists didn't poll well and wasn't focus group-approved, and he was too much of a wimp to actually *lead*, so bin laden went untouched and became emboldened.

I think it was one of Hussein's now-dead despot sons who said that they were in trouble now, because Bush isn't like Clinton.
