What do you think it is?
Alarm bells go off for me, when I hear of a disease that hits only people who are in a large group, having expensive fun.

1) If they have them, why not detonate?
BTW -- Monmouth County Prosecutor John Kaye may well have been drunk, which is a very severe problem for him, when he was spouting off about who was told what.

"...a new system, oh yeah! With shades of gray and bi-levels and popsicles, icicles>>>"
The problem as I see it is that the government didn't want to pay the political and economic cost of nipping this in the bud. There should have been internment camps with extensive repatriation to the mideast of those who came here in the 90's and all immigration and most travel abroad should have been stoppedfor a while. Then there should have been specific tax breaks(and an end to NAFTA etc.) to aid business development here of important and necessary items that are only being manufactured overseas.
Even if we survive this, the government bureacracy could still implode our Constitution and make us ripe for socialism.

Here's hoping there are some unmarked police cars.

"well, if one of them goes off in a major city, we'll have a depression..."
And the next new deal will bring us fully into socialism.

Ping to #8160

Based on just these names of the top most wanted you can see why the Intel guys have so much trouble sorting out the passenger manifests of these planes in question. Abdul, Ahmed, Abdullah, Mohamed (spelled many ways)and more.
BTW FWIW, I heard this morning they are getting close to the missing passenger from Christmas Eve. Last night Arnaud de Borchgrave said the name is A.H. Hai with the first name Ahmed is the one from Afghanistan.

Thanks for the ping. The bio on the pilot certainly adds a strange twist to this story.

"The codeword is "Freeper."
Use FR first, it's more obscure...unless you need more letters don't use freeper.

Those guys were also monitoring along the entire Rose Parade route and the Rose Bowl parking lot. Seems to me if they were out almost everywhere in large cities with large gatherings that this DB thing is quite possible. They wouldn't even bother if they thought the bad guys were not capable of setting one off. Although one person with a small DB would not do that much damage, it's the large truck or whatever that can do a lot of damage if laced with this stuff.

Anyway I will do it, but what about the 85% of the male population who doesn't?
What is it about boyfriends, husbands, dads, uncles and brothers anyway...thought it was just my "fam'bly!"
And, welcome to FR, EllieR!

Does anyone remember the significance of the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. My husband mentioned that he would be staying there on an upcoming business trip. Should I worry? Thanks.
To: crabbie
Completely apart from the pictures posted on this thread, I think the Luxor is a crummy LV hotel. It looks cool from the outside, but I thought it looked trashy on the inside. They do have a good breakfast buffet. Bellagio and Paris are nicer, and even Bally seems to be more well-kept than Luxor.

We're close but not fully there yet...small matter of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Who says we follow the Constitution and Bill of Rights anymore? Liberals say that these two documents are not for today...they have been saying that for a long time. O'Connor(spelling? Supreme Court) want to follow international Constitution ( I believe I read this here on FR)..
