That was all I was getting. Then I registered at yahoo as a member ( not a member of this group, just a yahoo member) and I am able to read the messages.

But it looks like you have to be a member of this particular group to read the uploaded file.

I do too; but, how is it that they immediately did something to the messages? Right after I clicked into one and posted it here on FR, you couldn't access the messages anymore........(at least I couldn't anymore, nor could many others, from what it sounds like).

We need a translator for Arabic. The best I can offer is purusing the chechen sites and reading the Russian there for tips. But they probably keep most of their good stuff in Arabic.

I know some Egyptians who may speak Arabic but the friend I called is out of town until 11-6.

If anyone really wants to pursue translation further, try finding a Coptic Orthodox church nearby and going there for help. Many of the Copts speak and read Arabic.

For some of the people who can still read them, the files are likely cached on the network servers through which their ISP routes requests.

Not necessarily. I keep thinking about the kind of conventional explosion that took out Halifax Harbour years ago (or the Port Chicago explosion on the West Coast for that matter). We've got plenty of deep-water ports from Miami on up the coast that could get real damn messy real damn quick if a large enough conventional explosive were used.
