Thanks, I didn’t know about this impressive memorial, overlooking the Gulf. When I’m down that way I will have to stop by. It’s nice to see the American spirit still exists to honor its service members.
My brother the Marine and step son the active duty Marine makes sure to stop by and polish the Marine brass plaque. It is a very quite and rarely visited memorial but beautiful for a picnic. High on a hill over looking the Gulf.
I had to remember myself since everybody just calls it USAA.
I could just scream when I have to listen to the USAA jingle when “on hold”.

Mine isn’t on there either.

FrogDad looked up himself, our son, our 2 grandsons, his brother and sister, my grandfather, my 3 uncles, his father and uncles. A couple were hard to find, largely because we didn’t know their middle initials.
We didn’t find a brother-in-law who served in the National Guard and a grand-daughter, currently in the Navy.
We were pleasantly surprised.

I’m in there, but my daughter who served is not. They don’t explain how to supplement their records other than to say it is a ‘work in progress.’
