Did Canada’s Mark Carney just ‘manipulate’ his way to a Liberal majority?

Different tactics, but same outcome. In America the Democrats simply stuff the ballot box and steal elections. In Canada the Liberal Party bribes members of the opposition to cross the floor. Five floor crossings in five months has never happened before. Canada is now essentially a one party state. Since senators are appointed based on the advice of the prime minister and the prime minister is a member of the majority or large plurality party there are no checks and balances once a party goes rogue and poaches members of the opposition and gets a majority. Until a large number of Canadians wake up and oust a large number of Liberal Party members from the House of Commons the Conservative Party will be wandering in the wilderness for a long time to come. And with the media funded by the government only the Liberal Party voice will be heard. Conservative media is unfunded and in the process of being censored and shut down. If you're a conservative in Canada it's going to get really ugly before it's all over.
