I would LOVE to have a restaurant like this near me. All the mexican places have anti-ice signs.
Unfortunately for me, it is kind of in the middle of nowhere. Otherwise I would go, even though Mexican is not my favorite.
Nice gesture, but I’m sure ICE has the same rules and regulations that most law enforcement and government employees have, and that is that they are not allowed to accept free services, gifts, etc., even food.
I guarantee there will be lines out the door to this place.
the average American, who quietly goes to work, takes care of their family, plays by the rules, and doesn’t take to the street is completely fed up.
Might be a trap. Show your ID, get your free food? Then you get doxxed a few days later?

There is usually a policy where it’s ok if the annual total from one source is under $25 or so but I could be wrong.
I wish that was nearby. There are a lot of items on the menu that look tasty.
Just up the road from my Arizona place, will be trying them out this April visit.
I get the feeling that Sammy’s family history in the area we now call “Arizona” predates Statehood ... and possibly predates the Mexican Cession.

I knew an immigrant working hard on his green card. He’s a citizen now. He HATES illegals. He went on a tirade which included, “Who do you think they rob, rape and beat up? Other people they think are illegals because those people won’t call the police.” He told me about a job he’d taken where they were working him 80 hour weeks with no differential pay. I told him that was illegal. He said he had to tell them he was illegal in order to get the job. If they found out he was legal they’d fire him.
You might say, hey, report them. He is terrified of the police and government in general. The army came to the village he was in, rounded up a large sampling of men and older boys, and shot them. His mother bundled him up and fled to California.
The kind of Mexican I like!
I retired in 2003 from a uniform job with NY State. We weren't allowed to accept anything for free of any kind.

Every Hispanic I know who is a second, third or fourth generation American despises illegals and is pro-Trump and pro-ICE.
