1. Change the rules. Eliminate the 60 vote cloture.
2. The next time the Senate is about to flip to the Dems, change the rules to re-instate the 60-vote cloture ... and then change the rules again to require a 60 vote majority to change the rules in the future.

If Republicans do not stop election fraud now, Dems will nuke the filibuster after the midterms.”

We wondered how could they elect a guy who wished death of a child in the arms of their mother. Well that scumbag was losing until 8:00 when there was huge mail dump and what do ya know.

They need to keep the filibuster as something of a check on Democrat overreach whenever they have the majority. Of course the Democrats may abolish it in the near future if they get a majority. Maybe Fetterman won't vote with them.

Fetterman will be retired by the time they vote to get rid of the Filibuster. So they'll just need 51 votes, 50 if they take the White House.

A good guess would be by 2030.

The quickest way to turn certain republicans into solid democrats is to eliminate the filibuster. Right now we have a slim lead in both chambers. But some of our members in both are really shaky at best. The dems are solid in their voting block. Not us. If you start doing good things for America with just a majority vote then some flimsy R’s will defect. I hate to say it, but I think it’s true.

Because RINOs are Assistant Democrats.

Yep. Obviously the problem is that our base will only vote for Trump, not other Republicans on the ballot.

Trump voters are not going to vote for RINOs.

Trump was able to replace Tillis. He's going to need to replace more RINOs in the primary for 2026.

The problem with nuking the filibuster is that feckless Republicans won't do a damn thing with all of that awesome power once they have it.

There are other problems with nuking the filibuster. Problems named Collins, Murkowski, McConnell, Paul, et al. There aren't necessary 51 conservative Senate votes to be had on any particular issue.

We'll nuke the filibuster and then expend every last bit of energy arguing over how many inches we need to fellate Israel and then scratch our heads when unrepentant communists get elected in every major US metropolis.

Note to Laura Ingraham: the GOP is going to get wiped out in Congress long term if they give up the filibuster, for the current short term benefit.

Thune should look Schumer in the eye and tell him “this is what is going to happen if you don’t play nice and open the government.”

Getting rid of the filibuster may sound good, but it is really the only thing that distinguishes it from the House. The 17th A wrecked the intended purpose of the Senate, so with $$ flying in from all corners of the globe, the Senate is nothing more than higher-paid reps. If we get rid of the filibuster, the Senate is virtually useless. I could spin the Wheel of Fortune and get a better outcome of judges and department heads.

Cloture is not the permanent elimination of the filibuster, and it has been invoked for many if not most filibusters.

Like they aren’t going to ANYWAY??????

Have you seen the “NEW” Democrat party lately?

WAKE UP OUT THERE. This is our last chance to save our country from what the Democrat party has become.
