Out on the town with husband, waiting for a taxi, could not hold it......went behind a bush.....cops did not act well when husband understandably tried to protect his wife’s privacy and help her to cover up. Cops acted inhumanely and politically, it seems to me. And the press, too. You can tell the press does not like the politics of this judge.

Cut her some slack even though she did violate public indecency laws. She was very drunk and had a choice of peeing on herself or breaking the law of public indecency. I would have probably done the same but tried to be more discreet.

Fine the hell out of her in a misdemeanor court and hope she gets help with her alcohol problems.

I do not know if she is a Democrat or Republican by reading the article. I would have the same opinion for both.

IDK, this gal has some frontal-lobe issues.

People dishing out prison terms and more need to have good judgment. Which she ain't got any of.

“ Okay, I wasn’t expecting a lady judge here.”
I had a few girlfriends who would pop a squat or lean on a tire on a back road trip when required, but to do it in public?
Not very lady like!

Nope, watch the body cam video. She was already covered up and sitting on the bench when the husband walked over to see what was going on as the officer was getting her personal information.

This whole fiasco would never have happened if the husband would have just obeyed the officer and gone over and waited by the cab.

Misdemeanor ticket and everyone goes home. But nope, husband has to act like a jerk and ultimately goes to jail and now she's out of a job. It wouldn't surprise me if he loses his job as the parks and recreation manager for the Town of Chino Valley too.

There is a public restroom across the street at the courthouse she could have used, about 400 feet away.

She probably had access to the courthouse 24/7 and could have used the private restrooms inside the building.

Worse case, they could have gone to the hotel across the street and asked to use the restroom.

What you don’t want to do is urinate next to the busiest and most patrolled intersection in Yavapai County.

Undoubtedly, he’ll lose his job with the town. Looks like he will be fired as baseball coach at Chino Valley High School too. The district sent out a cryptic post yesterday.
