People committing crimes and those that aid and help Criminals, don’t have the right to protect themselves with firearms. When they do violence against Federal Law enforcement for doing federal law enforcement, they are guaranteeing themselves occupation and violence.
A republic is supposed to be a government through elected representatives who come together to make laws through compromise. In actual practice, it has become “winner take all”. Our Republic now works as a crippled democracy. It was never intended to work that way. An elected representative is supposed to represent even those in his district who did not vote for him.
Obama and the Democrats say: “WE DID THAT”. The Representatives of the Democrats don’t even protect Americans, their focus is on replacing them with non-Americans that they can control.
It is clear that the educational requirements for maintaining a republic have not been met.
Fire these people now, they just spread hate towards Western Civilization. Anarchy by removal of government that these people support would eliminate them first, they don’t want survival of the fittest, no easy government jobs and medical care, people killing people for sport, they would be among the first deaths.

This "anti-ICE" school teacher may be wrong on literally every other thing he says, does, or thinks ... but he's correct on this matter.

I do not have a good answer for the larger problem that you mention - that government has become a "winner take all" system which does not allow compromises for representation of minority factions. This is not a good thing.
Well, "they started it". And we are going to do the same. It would be folly to turn the other cheek. We will cancel people for their "incorrect" political opinions and seek to have them fired from government and corporate jobs. We will be forceful in suppressing those "mostly peaceful protests" the Leftists are so good at organizing.
If the Leftists continue with ambushes and assassinations - things will get really ugly with the emergence of right-wing-death squads. How we put that back in the box, I do not know.
Combined with high amplification feedback paths on both sides, this Republic will join the others in the dustbin of history.
