The CPC 4th Plenum has opened, and Xi appears to be on task outlining the economic and social goals for the next 5 years.
I think some of the predictions of Western and Western influenced experts are wishful thinking.

This was the biggest purge of senior Generals in China since Mao, and all nine were key loyalists of Xi - just days before the 4th Plenum.

Not only were Xi’s loyalists removed from their key positions, but they have been expelled from the Communist Party, and have been accused of “vile” criminal acts, which sounds like they are heading to prison.
