They make up a lie that Trump is closing the freeway which the DOD / DOW outright denied publicly so gov dillhole closes the freeway to pretend the lie was real. Is that what we are seeing here?

newsome claimed the white house was going to close Interstate 5, when the Marine 250 event was announced, and there would be a military demonstration and live fire exercise as part of the event.
The Marines denied that there were any hazards, and I5 did not need to be closed.
newsom STILL instructed cal-trans and chp to close the I5, and blamed Trump for it....

Governor Gavin Newsom issued a sharp statement Saturday morning, blasting the federal government’s decision to move forward with the event, which involves live artillery fire in close proximity to the heavily trafficked I-5 freeway.
Early Saturday morning, the federal government confirmed that live fire activity is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the governor.

When I use to drive along i5, I use to see them doing exercises and they use to do live fire exercises without closing down I5, so all this was, was an attempt by newsom to smear Trump and the Marines for holding the Marine 250 event.
Newsom sucks huge sacks of donkey cocks...and that’s each morning, before he’s even had his first coffee...
I was stationed at Pendleton for 3 years as a Marine... there are countless live-fire training exercises per year there, and the I-5 doesn’t get shut down. At Pendleton, it is considered to be an ABNORMAL day to not have such a training exercise. Newscum is just lambasting and trying to draw attention to himself. Saturday was just a ‘dog-and-pony show’ to honor the upcoming 250th Marine Corps birthday. There have been many more complex fields of fire aboard Pendleton during training/field ops than that, with no need to close the I-5 or having any concern for public safety. Gavin the jerk shows his true colors once again... dumb and outlandish on his part, and displaying his contempt and hatred for the military.

Considering there’s an entire island (San Clemente Island) there for shore bombardment (or was when I was in the Navy), I don’t know why any navy ship would be firing anything at mainland USA.
