The Virginia AG candidate texts sick stuff about wanting to shoot a political opponent but the big takeaway by USA Today is that Republicans are cynically "pouncing" on this story.

If a Republican had done that, the UN would be meeting about it, and Greta would be on every TV screen to denounce it.

It is refreshing to see such a story about a Demorat candidate a month or so before an election. 99 times out of 100 those stories only appear for Republicans.

Unfortunately, many had already voted because of early voting!

Should do more than pounce. A billboard on every Virginia highway with the creep’s wish to have her babies die in her arms would be appropriate. And then a tie in to Spanberger approving his words.

My guess is that voters who have already voted for Jones would have voted for him even if he was caught on video tape pumping two bullets into the head of a Republican. Most hardcore Democrats would approve.

True, for the average democrat, I agree—but I feel many independents would have voted otherwise

That’s enough to allow the idiots who vote Dem to gleefully cast their vote for this guy.
I’ll be very surprised if he doesn’t win.

I agree. Most Democrats are hive-mind scumbags.

...pouncing Republicans" which is used to describe supposedly opportunistic Republicans taking advantage of a political situation... I see...it's okay for Democrats to create phony scandals, like Russia-gate, and hand those to their MSM friends, but when a Democrat actually is part of a real scandal and the GOP points it out, that's not fair? Anyone else feel that, any time the Democrats don't get their way, they act like spoiled brats? Case in point: The current gov't shutdown.

Just like democrats do to the republicans.
The difference being, democrats have to lie , exaggerate, or falsely accuse republicans of things. Democrats provide plenty of their own material for legitimate criticism.

Another reason why early voting, of which Virginia is a worst offender with 45 days, should be prohibited.
Probably half the democrat votes are already in, so nobody there is going to change their vote. This guy could commit a murder, or be dead himself, and still get a ton of votes already cast, including at least a half million votes cast by illegal aliens and green card aliens registered by democrats in northern Virginia.

If a Republican had done that, the UN would be meeting about it, and Greta would be on every TV screen to denounce it. And the Republican would've resigned by now and denounced by other Republicans.
