Yeah, Covert Action was founded by CIA defector Philip Agee, Communist attorney William Kunstler, etc. with support from the KGB and Cuban intelligence for the express purpose of outing CIA personnel: according to them everything is CIA. The original Covert Action article by Kuzmarov is ret-conning the state of CIA under Obama to analyze the state of CIA at the time his mother was consulting for USAID, while ignoring his mother's extensive Communist Party ties. While it's likely his mother crossed paths with CIA operations in Indonesia, it doesn't follow that Obama was CIA, as Soviet-backed groups were targeting the same operation, which I noted

The Obama-CIA claims were contrived on and circulated on the Left and among Russian outlets as a form of disinformation. The stronger and factually better founded line of analysis is that Obama’s career was a contrivance of the Left, with clear ties to the Communist Party of the USA.
