FICO scoring should be criminal to me. The methods they use make no sense and penalize people for doing the right thing.
Paying off debt and closing down credit lines not used should be a good thing.

Your post makes no sense. President Trump did not do this. This is being pushed by companies trying to make a buck.
Inflation is consuming wages before the consumer is even paid so they have no choice in splitting up payments. I used to pay cash for everything but then my Mother had to go in a nursing home and even on Medicaid still nearly bankrupted me so trying to play catch up is nearly impossible as nothing is being done to stop it and I do not care what you claim Trump is not doing much if any thing to curb it...Doesn’t even mention helping Joe Blow...
Amazon started doing this with certain items. I just bought a new OLED tv at 0% interest paying in five installments.
