First, how do you regard the US sanctions against Russia - going to the point of knocking them off the SWIFT system and freezing billion$ of their offshore assets, as damaging for the $US and America's economy as well as it's wider credibility with countries using the $US to settle trading accounts?
Second, Putin's views have been permitted to be aired by way of the Tucker Carlson interview but little else is available in the west on Russia's side of the story. That, in itself seems to me to be a sanction on people in the west by the US, which is a torch carrier for free speech.
I'm not a communist or any other label you can find to repel these two questions. They recur for me regularly. Maybe you have an aspect I haven't considered.
