Most Democrat and some Republican elected officials are very likely willing to make a Faustian Bargain in order to become one of the insiders, where getting rich is easier.
If I am using the phrase correctly,
a “Faustian Bargain” is a pact where a person willingly sacrifices his moral values or his soul for worldly benefits such as knowledge, power or wealth.

I’m surprised with some of the comments being posted. This is a Spiritual War and anyone who reads Scripture understands this. I’m not going to start quoting the Bible. But it says in the last days evil and false men will become worse. There are other realms in which spiritual war is raging. The prize is our souls. Either we choose Jesus or Satan.
The true believers speak the heart of their father because that is to whom their heart and souls belong.
