You expect clear, forward thinking in that scenario? It’s pretty forward thinking to have the weapons in the first place. Big difference between carrying, and brandishing. Yeah, that's the worst part. There's no way she just walks around with these things for fun. Clearly she and her sister have run into these types before and felt the need for protection. She probably was smart enough to keep them out of sight, right up until that scumbag started harassing them.

I find this story really sad. A child left to defend herself. I feel sorry for any decent Scots left but this has the hallmarks of a society in it’s last moments.
