I went college for someone who was a clerk for both Brennan and Souter (which tells us something about Souter). He wanted to clerk for a Justice, and he checked the box.

SCOTUS is SCOTUS. Most college athletes will be okay with being drafted in the first round by a bad team. SCOTUS is the top tier, and even the bottom of it is still a quantum above everything else.

She even blasted the Court for relying on "legalese" to make its decisions in one of her opinions - you know, those things called "laws" and the "Constitution", and that she would use her opinions as an opportunity to expression how she feels on subjects rather than relying on the law.

There were quite a number of even left-leaning black female jurists that Biden could have appointed instead of her that were actually qualified. She apparently got through over these other qualified purely because she was 100% activist who would not even give a cursory consideration as to what the Constitution or laws say. She isn't qualified to be on the Mock Trial team at a high school, let alone be on the Supreme Court of the United States.
