True, but for reasons, having a non-radioactive means of delivering kinetic total devastation from on high has its place.

With SpaceX continually lowering the cost of lift to orbit, “rods from God” may become competitive.

The cost has already been reduced about 10x, and is expected to fall another two orders of magnitude.

If the cost of lift to orbit is decreased to the $10 per lb range... rods from God might be cheaper than other weapons.

Once the SpaceX Starship is deployed, it will have 150 tons of lift capacity per reusable launch. That’s a game changer.
