Seems we are "on the same page" in this regard.
Supply and demand by those 'invisible hands', not government "allocation."
Which means Canada will be a bit of a basket case, until the Toronto-Ottawa "leaders" fail more obviously.
Not to quibble, but I asked you if you ARE an idiot? I didn’t call you one.
I wonder in general terms if any MAGA supporters are beginning to notice any disturbing tendencies of the actual agenda to depart from the stated agenda in the election campaign? Or are you getting exactly what you wanted?
Anyway, I hope we can make faster progress between Canada and the U.S. in addressing irritants like fentanyl, smuggling across borders (in both directions by the way), tariffs (not entirely our bad), military spending (already an issue in Canadian politics, Conservatives generally speaking want more). Insulting Canada is not really a smart way to begin this dialogue, it turns people off and naturally leads to the thought, “let’s wait until these people are gone.”
I thought it was telling that Trump had nothing good to say about Pierre Poilievre and never spoke once about Max Bernier. He doesn’t want Canadian conservatism to succeed, he wants the country weaker. What conclusion would you draw from that?
“I said there was a plan, not that you as FR members were in on it or supported it”
Space aliens...
>> I said it was a plan of powerful people behind the scenes in Washington DC.
Name five of them, and show your evidence.
We do not “annex” Canada...they choose, not us...I am tired of this talk.
India? I thought they were virtually at war with India.
>> are you getting exactly what you wanted?
I’m not naive enough to ever believe I’d get EXACTLY what I wanted from President Trump, or anyone else.
I am getting enough of what I wanted to be ecstatic. And when I compare what I’m getting with what I would be getting from a “Kamala” cabal — GOOD & HARD — I’m over the moon.
Next wedge question please?
‘But Greenland? Annex — definitely annex. Territory or protectorate also acceptable.’
Exactly, 100 upvotes!
If the US Govt ‘gets’ grabby then grab Greenland. Or buy it or whatever.
Greenland is a huge land mass directly in the center of the northern hemisphere.
Huge military significance - Huge!
The only people who think annexing Canada is a good idea are leftist morons in DC who want even more leftist morons from what used to be Canada to vote for them.
(Yeah I realize that there are several conservatives in western Canada and a few scattered around in the rest of it, but lets face it, any nation that elects a Trudeau or a Carney or a Ford is not something we need to add to our political environment.)
Yes, Greenland makes infinitely more sense to annex (or control) than Canada.
The Canada talk was a headfake. Trolling. Trademark Trump.
The muslim population in the US is about 1 to 1.5%
The muslim population in Canada is about 5%.
It’s a factor worth considering.
....=and I often read statements here about how Canada must follow the orders of their superiors in Washington DC. Can you imagine how that plays here? In 1776, or 1814, if I were to post on a hypothetical internet, the Colonies should listen to their natural masters in London, how would you view that? This is how we view your pronouncements)
I suspect many of those people on FR are among those working to undermine everything President Trump does. In California, I only hear how well Canadians are liked. I've traveled Canada and enjoyed the Canadians. So it's very likely those who automatically undermine everything Trump says or does are prone to hatin' on Canada. And if they can make Trump's objectives harder to reach, they'll now ratchet up the Canada remarks.
Also, as a Californian, I can report many Americans hate Californians because ....well they seem to confuse Californias who work and hold jobs with illegal aliens who live off welfare, and they confuse us with liberals who steal our elections, oh and they confuse us with nutty people in San Francisco who use the sidewalk for their bathrooms. Oh and they confuse Californian conservatives with every priviledged freak in Los Angeles too. I had someone hatin' on California, sneering that our financials meant we were living off everyone else in the US. I found the data that showed CA subsidizes other states and had better retirement data (she had cited CA as laughable but I demonstrated that CA's was better than her state). So there is some hate in the air anyway.I often read statements here about how Canada must follow the orders of their superiors in Washington DC.
I haven't seen those but I'm a bit suspicious of them because I don't know anyone who believes 'superiors' are in Washington DC. Just sayin', I think part of what you're reading is 'resistance' to Trump (alienate Canadians on purpose) and it will probably heat up if Trump continues his agenda. I can speak for other parts of the country - but a few of my friends who live outside California love their Canadian buddies.
It will be done discreetly by gradually replacing their elected officials with interdimensional beings.
I’ve read all 90 posts, 2 are my own.
Canada’s biggest impact will start on July 1st, 2026.
That’s when re-negotiations of the USMCA is possible to start.
And PDJT will start them! ! !
The only fly in this ointment/timeline would be EU knuckleheads succeeding in starting WW3
We want Alberta and Saskatchewan. Canada can keep the rest.
Why would we want North NY anyway?
If Canadians don’t expel the Muslims in their country, they will go the way of Europe. That Carney would praise their “contributions” speaks to the Globalist mindset. Will Carney finish what Trudeau started-ruining a once great Country?
Alberta has most of the resources that’s the only province the USA should want. Calgary is the Houston of the great white north and Edmonton is the Midland of it. Alberta also has loads of freshwater flowing north at elevations high.enough to make it worth while to divert it south to Montana and then Wyoming.
Montana puts it into the upper Mississippi River basin and therefore accessible in the Dakotas and Nebraska to the rapidly depleting ogallala aquifer all down hill from MT. WY has some of the upper Colorado River basin in its south Western corner you don’t go over the continental divide its steep and only twenty miles or so wide at 5000 feet MSL you bore UNDER the divide drop the water at 5000’ MSL on the other side of the mountain into the wall of a valley and its all downhill no pumping needed too lake Powell and there after lake Mead.
Tens of thousands of acre feet could be sent through a 12 meter wide TBM bored tunnel. This also allows. Denver which already has tunnels into the Colorado River basin to take more out of you compensate for those withdrawals up stream via imports in a tributary. Urban users pay rates high enough to justify importing water agriculture will never pay the rates needed.
Of course the 500 billion or so barrels of tar sands in place is a target for exploitation not all of it is recoverable nor economic. Alberta also has a sizable portion of Canadian natural gas reserves as well.
For more water and food the two prairie provinces might be worth it too they are a bread basket of wheat, cows and rye with big rivers flowing in from the west to irrigate all that land. Canada has 20% of all fresh water ON EARTH its the most blessed country in that regard.
There is a plan.
Operation Mainstay.
Canada will not try to keep itself and its people prepared to defend itself against Russia, China, anybody....even muslim takeover from within. Because the US will come to their aid....I mean, walk over them and stop the evil.
But if they know America might take them over, unwillingly, then all posdible opponents scare the hell out of them eventually. They will man up and prepare themselves and their people, or we will take them over.
Beta males are dangerous gor American survival and we will not tolerate it any longer.
