The war can’t end if people see Moscow as having lost on the battlefield to tiny Ukraine.

Moscow could settle for less territory if at the end of the war, vast numbers of Ukranians were seen at the point of slaughter begging for their lives.

The reality is Russia was fighting NATO, and the “result” of the war - win, loss or tie, plus territorial arrangement and the Constitution of Ukraine - needs to favor a stable strategic balance between the two powers.

Great comments. They love supporting the old Vanguard USSR (Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic) that hybrid bastardized state largely created by Lenin and the Bolsheviks because they wanted to blunt Russian nationalism. Kruschev gave the final coup with Crimea. Screw trying to prop up this hybrid creation.

Trump and Putin will probably agree to stop the war with all the conditions Putin wants. Trump is actually acting on behalf of Putin to keep the insane death wish of the EU in check. Trump will give Putin everything. And his comeback line to the necons and EU is “Ukraine doesn’t have a hope in HELL.”

Putin and Trump are orchestrating a charade because they have the same common enemy: the Democratic and Republican neocons. These are the people who spied on Trump, impeached him twice, made the phony Russiagate & J9 aspersions, rummaged through his personal property at Mar-a-Lago, and dragged him through the courts on fake financial and sexual charges. And that is not the half of it. But that does something to a man — even a man like Trump. And that is why the DOGE thing and executive orders happened, why Tulsi and the DOJ are about to prosecute the Democrat leadership, and why I believe Trump will give Ukraine, the crown jewel in the neocon cap, to Russia. It is revenge time for Trump and Putin, who both suffered from the neocons.

Imagine any normal man facing this vicious attack on his person, nonstop for 8 years. Then two assassination attempts! What would that do to him? We fail to see how the past affects the future. And with Trump, it accounts for his current stalling, prevaricating inaction — because it gives Putin time to win the war and keep Ukraine..

If and any agreement is made in Alaska, and i doubt there will, the criminal cabal in Ukraine collapses.

What I expect is a general outline will be set out at Alaska. The conflict will continue and eventually, Russia will advance all the way to the River.

I dont forsee them crossing that river even to capture Odessa.

“War is the continuation of politics by other means,” is attributed to Prussian military theorist Carl von Clausewitz.
He articulated this concept in his seminal work, On War, emphasizing that war is not an isolated event but rather an instrument of policy, a tool used to achieve political objectives that cannot be achieved through diplomacy or other peaceful means.
The Ukrainians goaded the Russian bear until the war came.
Not our problem, but president Trump is doing all he can to end it. What does Zylynskyy do? Demands more money to continue the war and insults him. It’s not surprising at all that the (nominal) head of one of the countries is excluded from peace talks.
Get rid of this little troll, problem solved.
