Epstein has a butler? Could I borrow him for a few days? My place is a mess.
I’m going to agree with the butler’s take on this; here’s why:
You are Epstein, and you are sitting in jail on various charges by the US Government.
Bill Barr is the AG, you likely have a personal connection with him through his dad.
In your previous run-in with the law Acosta slapped your wrist and was told to lay off, because you are an intelligence asset - by the way, who told Acosta to go easy?
Anyway, you are in jail, you are an asset; as an asset, aside from whatever evidence you collected on the day job, you have more incriminating pieces stashed in multiple locations.
Your homes are raided, evidence seized, destroyed, disappeared, doctored, or a combination of all of the above. You’d be extremely stupid (unless you were so comfortable in your role, that you never thought “they” would come after you), to NOT have backup copies of your “greatest hits” stored at the aforementioned multiple locations, and in the hands of persons who can release them, if you are suddenly dead.
So, you are asked (or will be allowed) to commit suicide, or else you are going to prison for the rest of your life.
Meanwhile, everyone knows that you cannot actually have a trial because you know, and can expose, a lot.
So, what happens? You make a trade, because you are not going to commit suicide with all the info, and influence you have.
You let Bill Barr and/or his minions know that if you are dead, the excrement will hit the fan because there will be info released Wikileaks-like (even if you are bluffing), but, if you are allowed to “escape” by conveniently committing “suicide,” all will be safe, and no one except the “right” people, has to know.
Somehow, every aspect of the government run prison operation, allows you to conveniently commit suicide, while you, in fact, disappear - with a body double for your corpse.
Once you are out (and only when you are out), you call up your main “handler” (who may or may not be an IC person, and an unknown to your regular IC handler) and say you are alive and well, protect all info, no release necessary.
I say the odds of his death by suicide are extremely small, and it’s much more likely that he’s alive and well, some where...the alternative could be that he was murdered, but that would have been a very risky move that assumed all of his “evidence” had been seized or discovered.
(Sorry, this does read like a movie plot; but is it far-fetched?)
