I've heard that a very effective way to punish them is to pull their security clearance. I guess it's that clearance that allows them to make very serious $$$ after they leave the government payroll.

Of course pulling the clearance would only be Step 1. Step 2 would be a flurry of subpoenas to testify in from of Federal grand juries.

Then it would be on to Step 3!
