I keep reading these stories about TikTok and VOA and the major media all pushing a favorable viewpoint of China... and I have yet to ever see a single example in any of them.

Kids use TikTok for dance videos and humor and pranks and to talk about their pets. In the zillions of hours I've spent on TikTok (which has the shockingly consistent ability to turn 10 min of viewing into 4 hours somehow), I've never once seen a pro-CCP post or ad or statement. Whining about the Chinese owners using our data is likewise laughable, as it seems to say that we are somehow better off having Bill Gates and Zuckerberg and our own government and hundreds of other companies spying on us and using our data.
