“At which point, people’s frontal lobes will begin to atrophy.”

I read an article where it was talking about all of the information that we are already bombarded with in the modern day. I forget the results of the tests but they weren’t good. Actually seeing changes in brain function.

However - spending some period of time away from devices and stuff was able to heal the brain. Like quiet time of “meditation” (prayer!) or nature walks without music or your phone. And focusing on the present (like how pretty the woods are, etc.) rather than thinking about everything else.

there is also an emerging field of neuroplasticity and brain retraining, which can actually help improve one’s health.

And prayer/meditation, getting out in nature, walks, listening to music, focusing on something that involves manual dexterity that means actually putting down the device and doing something.
