No jury trials in Italy. Everything is decided by a judge. So the dad is in serious trouble. We can’t have vigilantes running around, can we?

On the other hand, the rapist immigrant might get off easy due to different “cultural norms”. As sick as that sounds, it does happen.

In Italy, it's about all the petty officials who want a pay off on the road to "justice." Their legal system is chaos.
