Sorry but California is beyond political redemption. Its economic foundations have been weakened over the last twenty years with bizarre laws and regulations. Despite its enormous endemic, natural assets, beauty and existing infrastructure, it will never be what it once was or a place for decent people to live a productive, happy life.
