Such a good article.
The reactor comes in on a truck. When it's spent, bring in another and take the first back to the factory for reconditioning.
The analysis ignores the fact that current technology limits solar and wind to 20% of the load given the need to maintain the 60 cycle frequency within the required tolerance before the smoke in electronics get out and base load power plants trip off line to protect plant equipment.
Texas generated 169,442 gigawatt-hours from wind, utility-scale solar and
small-scale solar in 2024, which is significantly more than the runner-up,
California, which generated 92,316 gigawatt-hours from those resources.
Iowa ranks a distant third, as it did in 2023, thanks almost entirely to
wind power.Mar 6, 2025
A stunning breakthrough in chemical engineering has unleashed a massive supply of energy…
Enough energy to power the entire globe for 30,000 years.
It’s not nuclear, solar or wind. In fact, it was actually pioneered by the oil and gas industry – though it’s 100% clean, and virtually limitless.
The U.S. government has already sanctioned vast land sales across the western United States, ready to begin tapping this all-American energy find.
And billionaires like Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are going all in.
The International Energy Agency predicts $48 trillion could soon flow into this sector, making it the #1 source of energy on the planet.
Goldman Sachs is already calling this phenomenon a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
And at the center of it all, one virtually unknown, publicly traded US stock.
Right now, you won’t hear about this story anywhere else.
But that could all change, very soon, as a direct result of the land auctions we’ve been tracking.
So there’s no time to waste…
west wing had a good episode about this
they said the entire southwest would have to be covered in solar panels to provide energy for the country
Yes, in theory, the energy pulled from the wind into the turbine blades, then into electric current at a final electric voltage does need to be included.
But, realistically, no - so little energy is able to be extracted that it does not matter.
Far, far uglier is the visual and financial impact - all the dollars ultimately go to democrat party donors.
Thus we need 4,800,000 MWh of nameplate battery capacity.
that would make a hell of a fire
I LIVE IN N NEVADA>
THIS IS 7th straight day of temps near or over 100. 105 this afternoon.
There were 5 power outages this afternoon alone.
Just enough to cause all the clocks to be reset...5 times.
